Like most people, Don saw The One Church as a beacon of light and hope in a dystopian universe. That made meeting Julies and learning that even the church wasn’t free of greed and corruption even more of a blow. But Don was desperate and allowed the pardoner to travel with The Vision while extorting people at every stop for money in return for the forgiveness of their sins.

Now when Don believes he has finally achieved his goal of bringing democracy back to humanity for the first time in a hundred years Julies has returned. He has become the leader of his order and claims that the faster than light engine was a divine revelation from God. A revelation that was meant only for the church but stolen by Don who is to be executed for heresy.

Now Don has to convince people both inside and outside of the church of the truth. That the claim is nothing but a grab for power. But that will not be easy after Julies performs a miracle and makes every faster than light engine not owned by The One Church stop working.
