The Icarus has just received a signal from a non-human species. The crew believes that it is the first such signal. The captain says it is the seventh. The aliens were determined to be a threat to humanity so they were attacked and classified. They’re going to do the same thing to this new species. A member of the crew disagrees and takes matters into his own hands.
