The Pierson's Puppeters are the more original of the races in the Ringworld series and in many ways the part that makes the story interesting. A philosophy that both makes sense and is very different. They also look very different and these images are a few interpertations of the way that the Pierson's Puppeters look.

I find this one entertaining beacuse I can't think of a race less suitable to be a green lantern. After all to be a green lantern you have to be fearless and that is simply not the puppeters. I'm also not really sure how they would wear a ring, but that's a differnt point.

I wish I had science teachers who used science fiction to explain scientific ideas. A great way to get kids to read and understand science better.

This is a short review of Ringworld. It covers some of the ideas of the book, but touches on them only lightly.

Ringworld and Halo compared

This is an interesting video and while I think that the person in the video goes a bit far with some of his assertions that the two are similar there is no real doubt that the idea of the halo is similar to that of the ringworld. This is in fact one of the things that I liked about Halo.

The Ringworld is like many things in the universe so big it is hard to grasp. In addition images can't do it justice but these video gives you an idea of scope.

This first video is brilliant because it gives you something to measure the size by that we all recognize.

I know this next cover is a bit hard to see, but I really like it because it is one of the more accurate representations because it captures a bit of that no horizon feel as well as just how big the ringworld is.

This cover baffles me just a little. You have one of the most interesting concepts in science fiction and one that is very visual and instead you draw something that has no connection to the book at all. It is interesting, but I feel like I'm missing something.
